Frankly, I don’t look for fics very often these days (badly written as well as OC-centered ones did a great job repelling me). However, I had a look-see today and I definitely recommend these:

At the Price of Our Friendship (Tsunami/Otomura) by Tallemy-chan: I honestly never even considered this couple before. XD; But I really like the idea of the cool and collected Otomura comforting his friend/crush about his fear of planes in his own way. There are quite a few grammar errors, but the story is still enjoyable and I want Tallemy-chan to know she’s a great writer nonetheless. <3

Consequences (Aliea captains, particularly Gran/Reize) by Yue-chan: A take on just what happens once you fail as Aliea captain, as well as the events after Aliea Gakuen’s demise. This story is a little hard to understand sometimes because of the grammar mistakes, but I still think this author creatively handled the plot and especially the feelings of the characters.

Of Wolves and Kappas (HiroMido) by Garfakcy-chan: Nothing less from my favorite Inazuma author! This story is so sweet and well-described, I like the plot of a second FFI with Midori-chan in the team this time. And she even brings back the kappas! >3< She remains perfectly faithful to the canon material. And of course, there’s a little hint of Kidou/Sakuma too~

Unfaithful (Gran/Reize/Endou) by RyuuseiDragonPenguin: I honestly love this story. It is so beautifully written. Like Consequences, it’s a behind-the-scenes fic, and it matches the canon events perfectly. The characters are IC and she dives into Hiroto’s mind halfway, describing his feelings wonderfully. In my opinion, this fic could’ve easily happened in the series.

This is also basically canon for him and… yeah, I probably would’ve been more upset with his disappearance had the creators wisely decided to use the other half of the film for character development on his and his team’s part instead of useless recaps.

Though they pretty much as good as did that. It’s like the series went outs of its way to ignore his and Burn’s existence literally the moment Aliea Gakuen collapsed. It’s never said what happened to their teams upon the collision, they’re not referred to or seen in any flashbacks, and they’re the only Aliea captains who don’t appear in Go. What the hell, Level 5.
